FOODOM Heavenly Food Kingdom Robot Restaurant
As a flagship project of Qianxi Robotics Group, FOODOM TianJiangMeiShi Robotics Restaurant is the world’s first self-developed robotics restaurant complex which integrates food service, education and demonstration functions. The restaurant is located at the core of BoZhiLin Robot Valley, Shunde District, Foshan. It occupies approximately 2,000 square meters and could serve more than 600 people at the same time. The foremost feature of this restaurant complex is the integration of three business formats covering Chinese, fast food and hot pot. Through the collaboration within different robots of various business formats, it provides customers an abundant and technological dining experience on the basis of ensuring safety and sanitary of food materials.
More than 40 catering robots have been deployed in the restaurant and many of them were first put into service, such as hot-pot cloud rail, steaming robots, noodles robot, breakfast machine, caryfish vending machine, robotics coffee station and automatic bowl dispenser, etc. In the mean time, burger robot, frying robot, greeting robot, ice cream robot and other equipment have undergone new upgrades.
The successful operation of FOODOM TianJiangMeiShi Robotics Restaurant has greatly enriched the application scenarios for catering robots, which is of positive significance for restaurant business upgrading in the post-epidemic era. Meanwhile, FOODOM TianJiangMeiShi Robotics Restaurant has provided a significant model for Qianxi Robotics Group to take on the world and marked the arrival of robotics era in restaurant business in China.
The restaurant includes three dining sections.
The Chinese section introduces gourmet chefs as instructors to robots for cuisine developments beforehand, and using robotics equipment to restore chefs’ authentic culinary arts to achieve automatic cooking process. The foremost feature is the neat robotics matrix of 18 cooking robots. The cooking robots start cooking quickly after customers scanning QR code and placing orders. The AGVs runs smoothly on the cloud track overhead to deliver food to designated table locations and dishes descend from the sky and ready to enjoy for customers.
Hot Pot Section
Robotics smart sorting system and smart catering mechanism are being applied in hot pot section, which are customized and developed by Qianxi Robotics Group. In addition, the hot pot cloud rail system is introduced to provide food delivery services, which minimizes human interruptions and achieves point-to-point precise delivery. All of the hot pot raw ingredients and fresh food materials are strictly selected and processed by the central kitchen, and cold-chain transported in the whole process.
Fast Food Section
Fully automatic storage, cooking, heat-preserving and catering are achieved in the Fast Food Section. Three different types of fast food cooking techniques, including steaming, frying and roasting, are supported at the same time. A payment could be completed in only 0.3 seconds and food to be served within 2 minutes. Self-developed equipment, such as noodle robots, automatic steaming machine, robotics coffee station and breakfast machine, are deployed to provide customers a variety of convenient dining experiences. Burger robot has been upgraded to achieve the efficiency of one burger production in 20 seconds. Food production efficiency will further improved in the future.
